Technology And Design With Profiles

Wetrooms and Waterproofing
Inadequate waterproofing in bathrooms and wetrooms can spell disaster, not only for the room in question but also the building as a whole. Schlüter-Systems offers integrated waterproofing and wetroom systems to protect your projects, including tanking membranes and backerboards, drainage systems and grates.
Balconies and Terraces
The Schlüter balcony system is a comprehensive product assortment of matching finishing profiles and gutters as well as drainage, uncoupling, and waterproofing systems.
Covering Assemblies
Schlüter-BEKOTEC enables the creation of crack-free floor assemblies with low screed volumes. It is thin, will not buckle, and does not develop tensions. Using the heating components of Schlüter®-BEKOTEC-THERM, this system can be used to install an effective heating system as a ceramic thermal comfort floor.
Underfloor Heating System
Multi-functional and easy to install, Schlüter’s underfloor heating systems minimise height build-up and material volume, making for a more practical and eco-friendly solution. Electric and hydronic (wet) systems are available.
Underlayment

Schlüter-DITRA 25 is the market-leading uncoupling membrane which allows the tile or surface to move independently from the substrate. Schlüter-Systems’ movement joints work in conjunction with DITRA 25 to provide a complete system solution for crack-free installations. A variety of practical yet discreet movement joints are available to absorb the stresses of expansion and contraction across the tile or stone covering.
Storage & Shelving
Schlüter-SHELF adds order and storage space to your bathroom without drilling, creating a stylish look. The pre-fabricated and sealed waterproof Schlüter-KERDI-BOARD-N are ideally suited to quickly and reliably build niches and shelving. Schlüter-Systems strengthens team by appointing new Head of Marketing
As part of an ongoing commitment to delivering a full and diverse marketing mix across all channels, tile and stone installation experts Schlüter-Systems is delighted to announce the appointment of Sarah Holey.
Sarah joins the team as Head of Marketing, taking a lead on the strategy for 2021 and beyond. Her previous experience includes Marketing Manager for bathroom manufacturer Roca, Market Manager at Ibstock Brick and, most recently, she held the position of Head of Marketing for Parkside and Strata Tiles, the commercial arm of Topps Tiles.
Her wealth of knowledge within the construction sector and experience in providing communication platforms for various routes to market throughout her career including tilers, architects, end users and distributors, makes Sarah a perfect fit for Schlüter.
Sarah, who took on her first marketing role with Roca whilst studying Psychology at the Open University, says, “It’s an exciting time to be joining Schlüter – I am very impressed by their emphasis on education which offers installers and architects the confidence to both understand and recommend their products to end users. This, paired with the breadth of Schlüter’s product range means that there is plenty to get my teeth into and plenty to offer the industry.”

Schlüter UK response to Covid-19
This message is to advise on the measures Schlüter-Systems have put in place to ensure we are able to continue to support you and our staff during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Our focus is on the health and wellbeing of our staff and clients first and foremost, as well as our ability to continue to support our clients and business partners.
Here are the procedures we have put in place to deal with the current situation we are in.
Operational Resilience:
We are not experiencing logistical issues at the moment as we ship from Germany to the UK, and Schlüter will endeavour to stock hold as many fast-moving products as recommended.
Our UK warehouse is operating as normally as it can given the current situation (with precautionary measures in place) and you will still receive orders placed during this time.
We have mobilised most of our staff to work from home to ensure we continue to provide our customers with the best service possible.
If you are one of our Architects, Contractors or Distribution partners and need help or support then our Area Sales Consultants are available on the phone, via text, WhatsApp or Skype. We can also send technical data to your home or place of work and access our systems remotely within a secure IT environment. You can still reach out to us and speak to someone in the office by calling the main switchboard number +44 (0) 1530 813396.
Employee and Client Safety:
The NHS advice has been shared with everyone within the company, so everyone is aware of and encouraged to take precautionary action.
For those who work externally to the office we are encouraging remote meetings as much as possible (i.e. via telephone or video call) and to continue taking government advice by avoiding large gatherings.
We continue to monitor the health and wellbeing of our staff to ensure everyone is taking the correct measures to keep themselves safe.
We appreciate that there is still some uncertainty surrounding the Coronavirus outbreak, however Schlüter-Systems will continue to follow the government advice and take sensible precautions to minimise the impact on our staff and prioritise their welfare.
